Dr. Ricardo Gómez Flores - Chair of the International Accreditation and Evaluation Office

Dr. Gómez Flores is an Associate Professor “D”, with a Bachelor Degree in Chemist Bacteriologist and Parasitologist (1987) and a Ph.D. in Microbiology (1995) at UANL. Also, he has postdoctoral degrees in Neuroendocrine Immunology from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL., and in Microbiology from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He is in charge of the Immunomodulators and Carriers of Drugs Unit, Laboratory of Immunology and Virology of the School of Biological Sciences, UANL. He has published 94 articles in international journals, 20 national articles and 8 chapters of books at international level. Furthermore, he is the co-author of 2 books on Business Skills Development. Currently, he is a Level 3 researcher in the National System of Researchers (CONACyT), has a PRODEP profile, and is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. He has been awarded the Minority Supplement Nacional Institutes of Health (NIH) Fellowship Grant (1997), the NIH Research Fellowship (F32) (1998-2001) and by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003).

Dr. José Nicolas Barragan - International Accreditation Coordinator

Dr. Barragan currently assists as a Research Professor in the School of Public Accounting and Management at UANL, Mexico. He has bachelor’s degree in public accounting at the Universidad Regiomontana, and two master’s degrees, one in administration, at the ITESM, and the second in marketing at the University of Switzerland. He also holds a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Texas in Austin. He has participated as an exchange professor at international universities such as George August University in Gottingen, Essex University in London, UK, the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, the San Pedro Sula Business School, in Honduras and with the UIBE, in China, Singapore, Tokyo, and Brazil. He has PRODEP profile, is a founding member of the Academy of Administrative Sciences (ACACIA), a member of the entrepreneurship research network with universities in Canada, the United States and Mexico and Academic Vice President of the Public Administration Institute of Nuevo León, Mexico.

Dra. Guadalupe Rodríguez Bulnes - International Accreditation Coordinator

Dr. Rodriguez Bulnes is a professor at the School of Philosophy and Arts, UANL. She has a Bachelor degree in English Translation and a Master in Higher Education at UANL. She also obtained a Diploma in Social Anthropology, by CIESAS Monterrey and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Birmingham, England. In addition, she is certified as a national evaluator and counselor in the process of institutional accreditations accredited by COAPES for the certification of humanities programs and as an international evaluator for CONEAUPA (Council for University Evaluation and Accreditation of Panama). She has the recognition of the PRODEP profile (2017-2020) and is a level I member of the National System of Researchers. She is a member of the CONACYT Registry of Accredited Evaluators (RCEA), in the Area IV “Humanities and Behavioral Sciences”, from the Educational Research Network (RIE) and an affiliate member of City University of Seattle. She is currently a university professor in the School of Philosophy and Arts at UANL, and one of the International Accreditation Coordinators in the International Accreditation and Evaluation Office at UANL.

Lic. Rebeca Sierra Vazquez - International Accreditation Assistant

Rebeca Sierra graduated from the Bachelor degree in Language Sciences in the School of Philosophy and Arts at the UANL. She currently assists the Coordination of International Accreditation and is an English Instructor at the School of Political Sciences and Public Administration (Language Department). She has supported the international accreditation of academic programs from UANL and has gotten experience in managing international evaluation agencies located in the United States, Germany, Spain, Chile, among other countries.

Mtro. Miguel Ángel Meza - International Accreditation Assistant

Miguel Meza graduated from the Bachelor degree in Administration in the School of Public Accounting and Management at the UANL. He also has a Master’s Degree in International Accounting from the same institution. He currently assists the Coordination of International Accreditation by counseling and coordinating actions between schools and international organizations to achieve international accreditation of educational programs.
