International Accreditation is granted to four academic programs from the School of Biological Sciences

The German agency ASIIN endorsed the academic quality of four academic programs of the School of Biological Sciences, the accredited programs are, B.s. in Biology, B.s. in B.s. in Chemical Bacteriology and Parasitology, B.s. in Food Science and B.s. in Genomic Biotechnology.

This international accreditation, confirms that there are conditions for the teaching-learning process and that they occur successfully. It is based on the fact that the learning outcomes are oriented towards the standards of the European qualification framework for lifelong learning. The German agency ASIIN has the recognition of the German Accreditation Council to carry out the evaluations and accredit the programs at the international level. The ASIIN quality seal for study programmes applies to the natural and technical sciences as well as their interdisciplinary combinations with other subjects.

ASIIN is a specialized agency recognized worldwide for the quality of evaluations of educational programs. The official decision, by ASIIN, was delivered to Rector Rogelio Garza Rivera and Director Antonio Guzmán Velasco on May 8, 2018.
